Some forms
of communication between an attorney and client are
privileged. Simply communicating with our firm does not
create an attorney-clientrelationship. You should take care
not to divulge information you wish to remain privileged
unless and until our firm has agreed to represent you on a
specific matter. Moreover, email transmissions are subject to
interception by others on the internet and may not be
privileged. It is good practice not to communicate any
information with our firm via email that you would not want an
opposing party to know. Sensitive information is better
communicated during in-person conferences with our attorneys.
If you
communicate with our firm by email, you are indicating your
consent for us to respond to you via email. Our response may
or may not include any specific advice,
and it will involve the same risk of interception by others as
discussed above.
